Our new logo is here!

After using our podcast album cover as our logo for the past few months, we are excited to reveal our new logo. Here it is!

What is the story behind this logo?

Diaspora: noun

Di·​as·​po·​ra: "the movement, migration, or scattering of a people away from an established or ancestral homeland"

The symbol is made up of eight persons connected to each other, four being burnt orange and four being black. The two groups signify the before and after moving to a new homeland, with the black being before, and burnt orange being after. The choice of colours and transition from black to burnt orange signifies the transition to the new homeland.

The four persons in each group signify the four foundations of Diasporaa - Communities, Events, Resources and Services. We aspire to build these four foundations for both groups.

They are connected with each other to signify the support system that we aim to build, and they are positioned in a circle to signify the global nature of this support system.
