What are OCI timelines currently?

I’m trying to get an OCI Card for my 1-year old. If you applied for one recently - how long did it take to arrive after submission at BLS?

Oh. That’s not good. Wish you good luck. Not sure if you can go with expedite processing.

@sandeepkamdar So I went today and it was smooth. The lady said the official timeline is 5-6 weeks but she applied for her relative and it came in 3 weeks. So hoping for the best.

Aditya, Did this process for my daughter six months ago. It took 4-5 weeks. However, it was OCI against POI. So this process may vary if you are applying OCI for the first time.

I had about 12 weeks when I went for the appointment. They didn’t take the application because it was missing a signature which was never on the checklist. Now I have taken another one which is 7 weeks before travel date. So let’s see!
